About UKA

UKA is a traditional, yet innovative, cultural festival and is made possible through the enormous effort of 1800 volunteering students. The student festival started off as a revue theatre with the opening show "Baccarat" in 1917 in order to bolster Studentersamfundet’s economy. Now UKA arranges everything from concerts with international artists such as Jay-Z, Franz Ferdinand, Muse and David Guetta, to sophisticated sushi and wine tasting classes.
